In a world where fashion and urban culture intertwine more closely than ever, collaborations between brands and content creators are becoming powerful vehicles for spreading authentic values. In this interview, Horda Brand, a leading name in the Italian streetwear scene, shares the story behind its collaboration with the podcast Orange Talk, hosted by the legendary rapper Inoki. This partnership represents a unique opportunity to connect with an increasingly engaged and passionate audience. From music to art, and even social initiatives, Horda Brand explores new ways to leave a lasting impact through innovative projects and strategic collaborations.
The collaboration with Orange Talk came about quite naturally. We were looking for an authentic and fresh way to increase our brand's visibility, and it felt like the podcast, with its ability to create a direct connection with the audience, was the ideal platform. Inoki, as the central figure of the podcast, is an icon of urban culture, and his influence provides a unique opportunity to showcase our products organically, episode by episode. Being the main sponsor of the winter 2024 season allows us to be present in every episode, ensuring consistent visibility for our brand.
Horda Brand has always aimed to be more than just a fashion label. Our vision encompasses culture at 360 degrees: not just fashion but also music, art, and social commitment. Orange Talk perfectly embodies this philosophy, creating a space where meaningful topics are discussed through the lens of urban culture. Our mission is to be inclusive and open to everyone, and we believe the podcast's authenticity reflects these values. Streetwear fashion isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s a medium to express ideas and belonging. Orange Talk helps us amplify this message.
Inoki has profoundly influenced streetwear culture, especially in the early years of his career. His message of rebellion and authenticity resonated with many young people who were drawn to this world. Today, even as the music scene evolves, his role remains significant thanks to his ability to adapt and reinvent himself. Through the podcast, Inoki proves he’s not just a rapper but also a skilled communicator, capable of entertaining and sparking reflection. As for Horda Brand, while Inoki’s music isn’t directly tied to our style, we admire his consistency and dedication to representing a voice of urban culture, which is deeply embedded in our DNA.
We already have some products inspired by the collaboration with Orange Talk, and we’re considering expanding the range with limited editions tied to the podcast in the future. However, our main goal with this partnership is to increase brand visibility and reach a wider audience that’s attentive to streetwear culture. It’s not just about selling apparel but about creating an authentic connection with our audience through content that resonates with their interests and passions.
For us, fashion is much more than just business. Horda Brand is a creative expression that aims to inspire the audience through its products and the values they convey. Collaborating with Orange Talk gives us the opportunity to show that even a streetwear brand can carry meaningful messages. We want our audience to feel part of something bigger, to see us not just as a brand to wear but as a community with which they share ideals and passions. This partnership allows us to become part of people’s lives, not only through what they wear but also through what they listen to and reflect on.
Absolutely. We’re currently involved in several collaborations, such as with Bazy Gang, a young TikToker, and Mondorama, a highly active social media influencer. But we’re not stopping there. We’re also working with emerging artists from the rap, trap, and hip-hop scenes. These projects keep us connected to new generations and allow us to explore new forms of expression that align with our vision of streetwear. Music and fashion are two sides of the same coin, both part of a constantly evolving culture, and Horda Brand wants to be at the forefront of this transformation.
