ALTRAD acquires Edilservizi Piacenza SRL and creates Altrad Servizi Italia

ALTRAD, a world leader in the provision of industrial services and the manufacturing of equipment dedicated to the construction sector has acquired a majority stake in 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘇𝗶 𝗣𝗶𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗮 𝗦.𝗿.𝗹., an Italian company leader in design, rental, assembly and dismantling of scaffolding on construction and maintenance sites.

After a 20-year commercial partnership, Edilservizi becomes an integral part of the AltradGroup, rebranded as 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘇𝗶 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮, aiming to accelerate growth, in sectors such as building, civil engineering and #infrastructure, whose dynamism is currently opening up great opportunities.

Boies Schiller Flexner Italy advised the seller – 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗦.𝗿.𝗹. and his ultimate beneficial owner – on all legal aspects of the transaction with a team led by Jacopo Mosca (counsel), composed of Angelo Giulio Iemmolo (associate) and Frances Onwudimegwu (junior associate), and supervised by Alessia Allegretti (partner), whereas Studio Ampollini with Gian Mario Ampollini advised the seller on the tax and financial aspects.

Since December 13th, 2023, Edilservizi Piacenza SRL has been an integral part of the Altrad Group; it becomes now Altrad Servizi Italia SRL. This union will enable Edilservizi Piacenza and Altrad [World leader in industrial services and the manufacture of equipment dedicated to the construction sector] to join forces in order to occupy a leading position in the Italian market, whose dynamism is currently opening up great opportunities. 

The integration of the 35 “new” employees into the Altrad Group will be a smooth process, since Edilservizi Piacenza SRL had already been an Altrad Italia customer for 20 years as part of its service activity, with design, rental, assembly and dismantling of scaffolding on construction and maintenance sites, in sectors such as building, civil engineering and infrastructure (including viaducts), engineering structures (including historic monuments) and industry, which already accounts for 10% of the company’s business.

Gianni Pellegrini, Managing Director of Altrad Italia (the Group's historic subsidiary in Italy), and Ran Oren, Joint CEO of the Altrad Group, unanimously declared: “We are extremely pleased at the prospect of this merger with Edilservizi Piacenza, which has long been a partner of choice for Altrad Italia. From the point of view of the management of Altrad Servizi Italia, there will be no change: the existing teams have been strengthened and remain at the disposal of clients and suppliers to further develop their joint activities.
